The Journey Begins
Manaus is our starting point; this is a large city situated on the banks of the Rio Negro. From here, we proceed to experience the deeper level of the forest by using boats in the water channels that interconnect the whole big, secured region. It is the peculiarity of the rainforest area that leaves one breathless: the tremendous size of it and the canopies that go on and on as far as the eye can see.
Encounters with Wildlife
The Amazon is practically the most bio-diverse environment you can ever imagine. Deeper, there are many inhabitants, starting with jaguars and playful river dolphins up to harpy eagles that are extremely rare to meet. Every day comes with new developments and new observations of this or that and how amazingly diverse it is in this area.
