Many people communicate with their beloved pets and tell them secrets that no one else tells them. And, while part of you thinks that all the actions may be pointless, yet others have a side belief that their pet is listening.
Why do we laugh?
Regardless of what they say, laughter is a mysterious thing that most of us do not know about its origin. It is thought that it exists to provide something that unites individuals, while another theory says that it started as a warning sound to point out inconsistencies, such as the sudden appearance of tiger-teeth. So, while we don’t know why we do it, we know we do it. But animals are funny, and if not, why?
Cheeky monkeys
It is understood that it is our closest animal relatives, chimpanzees, monkeys, bonobos and orang-utans that make happy sounds when running in the game or when they are being attacked. The fact that these sounds are emitted during stimulation such as grunts indicates that laughter evolved before any speech. It is said that Koko, a well-known sign language guinea pig, once tied his keeper’s shoes and signed ‘kick out’ indicating, possibly, the ability to be funny.
Beastly humour
it’s not just people because even animals laugh, like a dolphin that makes happy sounds when it’s playing to show those around it that it’s okay. just like elephants also blow their trumpets while playing. But it is impossible to tell whether this behavior is comparable to human laughter or just a noise that the animal likes to make at certain times.
Pet hates
then you might wonder about our pets? do they also laugh at us? scientists say that cats laugh when they are having fun, On the other hand, cats were thought to have evolved to show no emotions at all as a matter of living in the wild. As science goes, it seems that cats can’t laugh and you can take comfort in knowing that your cat isn’t laughing at you. Although, if they ever get the chance to do it, we suspect they will.
