If you are still new to learning programming, you are lucky to have found the best advice that no one has told you about, and it will help you enhance your skills in programming.
You don’t need to force your brain to study at all; you don’t need to spend money to buy books, pay for private courses, or do demi tutorials. Also, stop looking for the perfect programming languages for nonsense purposes, notion note-taking systems. You must get off the Reddit website, get off YouTube tutorials, get off Twitter, and don’t ever force yourself to find better courses online, which is very time-consuming for learners.
All you have to do is open up your text editor and write code. If you already know how to write a function, you already know enough to build on your basic skills.Do not force yourself to learn; just focus on building. Build, and you will learn from it. If you don’t feel enough, then build more to gain more. You can ask yourself why you default to reading or watching videos to learn because writing code is hard. There is no easy path to programming; there is only hard work and long hours. Yet you can face many challenges, like when writing functions and not returning them as you want, or other things you can face.
So, to apply the advice:
- Pick a programming language and stick to it. Figure out what is needed to do, and then you will know and understand your tool well. Stop hesitating in your programming language choice.
- Stop trying to master programming languages faster. There are many videos on YouTube that will show you how to master your programming language, but they are all the wrong path and time-consuming.
So, stop looking for shortcuts. You don’t need the video to show you how to get a job faster. “No pain, no gain.”. Just take long hours, build, and solve the problems.
