4. Environmental Adaptation
The green color is also helpful to the plants as it assists them in blending in with the environment, hence attaining some form of camouflage. This can be particularly advantageous where the trees and environment can be quite thick, thus increasing the chances of coming across herbivores or other danger-causing animals.
Also, the green color of trees and other plants strikes the eye, if only because it also suggests equilibrium, which is important for life.
